Medical Director

John Gilbert, D.O., Medical Director Dr. Gilbert became our Medical Director in 2007. His practice is located at 2001 Scioto Trail, Suite 100, in Portsmouth, Ohio. Medical Directors serve as consultants to the agencies administrative personnel in the area of medically related patient needs. They also serve on a Professional Advisory Committee that regularly reviews the agencies policies and practices, and assesses how well the agency is meeting the needs of the community it serves. Marketing Staff

Sara, RN, Marketing Coordinator Sara joined our team in 2010. As Marketing Coordinator she frequents doctors offices, nursing homes, hospitals, elderly housing, assisted living facilities and other organizations to promote the agency and educate people on home care. Nursing Staff

Roxana, R.N., Case Manager Roxana joined us in 2007. Roxie is our admissions nurse. She primarily assesses our new patients and puts them on our program. Roxie also assists with performing home visits and manages patient care. E-mail: Roxana

Laura, R.N., Case Manager Laura came to Advantage in 2009. Laura manages patients care, performs home visits, and delegates visits for her patient case load (most of Scioto County). E-mail: Laura

Scott, L.P.N., Visit Nurse Scott assists the agency by completing patient visits for the case managers. He also completes evaluations and supervisory visits for our non-skilled department. As a patient of Advantage Skilled Care, you can rest assured that our nurses will always be there for you. Kevin, LPT Kevin owns and operates OSU95 Therapy, LLC., located in Lucasville, Ohio. He oversees a knowledgeable and skilled staff of physical therapist, physical therapy assistants, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and speech language pathologists. Social Services

Home Health Aides

Evalina, Home Health Aide Evalina started at Advantage Home Health Care in 1996 as a personal care aide, transferring to Advantage Skilled Care as a Home Health Aide in 2004. Evalina helps patients with their personal care and grooming needs.

Lisa, Home Health Aide Lisa started with us in 2007. She also helps patients with their personal care and homemaking needs.

Lisa, Home Health Aide Lisa became a part of Advantage in 2004 and assists patients with their personal care and grooming needs.

Our home health aides are caring and compassionate people that understand the value of personal treatment. They will discretely assist you with as much, or as little, assistance as you request.
